Description

Do you need a manageable, low-prep, printer-friendly resource for biography writing? I created this resource because it was just what I wanted and needed after teaching a biography unit. This resource has what you need to teach your students how to write a biography with organized sections all put onto one poster/slide.
 
This resource includes:
  • A brief teacher guide with suggested mini-lessons and resources
  • A list of 60 people: Black Americans, Fearless Females, and World Leaders
  • Biography reference sheet: This could be a student handout, it can go into student writing or biography folder, or you can display it on your writing bulletin board or put it on your bookshelf or wall in your classroom library.

This is a digital download with a link to the resource in Google Slides. I put this resource in Google Slides to share the link to the biography poster with my students. All slides/pages are printable. I printed out all the other pages, like the notetaking and checklists. Always keep a master copy of this resource for yourself before sharing any parts of it with your students.
